TransFest 2025
From March 21-23, 2025, Fontainebleau will host the first-ever TransFest, a weekend dedicated to trans, non-binary, intersex, and genderqueer climbers. This event is all about climbing, connection, and celebrating identity in a safe and inclusive space.
Salon de l’Escalade | Climbing in the Heart of Paris
The first-ever climbing event at Paris Expo: Salon de l’Escalade, with Tiba Vroom highlighting inclusivity and sustainability through the Women’s Bouldering Festival and RespectBleau.
RespectBleau
Tiba joined the board of the association RespectBleau. The goal of the organisation is to unite local and international climbers and other parties to improve the sustainability of the climbing in the Fontainebleau forest.

Dutch National Bouldering Championships was a blast!
Tiba Vroom from Wildflower Climbing tells you more about the organisation of the Dutch Bouldering Nationals 2023: “When we received a phone call from the National Climbing Federation, the NKBV, with the question if we wanted to host the NK Boulder 2023, there were two thoughts going through my mind: yes, we’d love that! But also, how are we going to organise this in six weeks? Because that was the amount of time we had left before the event would happen. And there was a lot to be done.”
