Exciting news for all climbing enthusiasts! For our upcoming climbing camps and events, we have chosen a brand-new location that perfectly blends adventure and culture. In addition to our well-known Natural Climbing Lodge in the heart of the Fontainebleau forest, we are expanding our Boulder Basecamp to a stunning spot in the southern part of the climbing area, near Nemours.
Our new home for events will be at Camping La Rivière Dorée, a beautiful, open space surrounded by lush greenery, right by a river and a lake. This peaceful setting offers direct access to some of the most famous climbing areas, including Petit Bois and L’Elephant, making it the ideal base for both seasoned climbers and newcomers.
But there’s more than just climbing! This location is also perfect for those who love to explore beyond the rocks. The nearby medieval towns of Nemours and Larchant offer charming historic streets, picturesque squares, and fascinating cultural landmarks. Whether you want to visit ancient churches, stroll through local markets, or relax in a traditional French café after a day of climbing, there’s something for everyone.
