The 2025 Fontainebleau season has officially begun, and we couldn’t have asked for a better opening weekend.

Last weekend we hosted our first outdoor bouldering camp of the year, and for the first time, we set up our boulder base camp at a brand-new location: Camping La Rivière Dorée in Seine-et-Marne. A peaceful, green setting close to the boulders, and a great place to gather, rest, and reset.

The weather showed up, and so did a great crew, a mix of returning friends and new faces. Days were filled with climbing, coaching, sharing beta, and enjoying the forest. Whether working on projects or just being outside, everyone found their own rhythm.

Evenings were a highlight in themselves: cheerful dinners, good conversation, and time by the bonfire, a perfect balance to the effort and focus of the day.

There was flow, there was laughter, and there was plenty of bouldering.

This camp set the tone for what’s to come. We’re grateful to everyone who joined, and excited for everything the season still holds.
